Number ( संख्या ) : - Number is a word or symbol or a combination of word or symbols used in counting different things.
Digits ( अंक ) : -- 0 - 9
Complex Number ( समिश्र संख्या )
A number that can be expressed in the form of ( A + i B).
Where :-
- A & B are real numbers.
- i ( iota ) is imaginary number..... i = √-1 , i^2 = -1
Ex : - √-5, 3 + 2i, 3 + √-1 , 2i, 5i, etc...

Real Number ( वास्तविक संख्या )
A real number is a value of a continuous quantity that can represent a distance along a line.
In Fact :
Nearly any number you can think of is a Real Number
Ex : - ∞ to + ∞ , 2/3 , 0.33333........
Types of Real Number
1). Rational Number ( परिमेय संख्या )
2). Irrational Number ( अपरिमेय संख्या )
Rational Number
A number that can be expressed in the form of p/q,
Where p & q are integers and q ≠ 0.
Ex :- 2, 3, 4, 1/2, 3/4, etc....
Types of Rational Number
1). Terminating Decimal ( Ex: 1.6, .5, 1.7, 1, etc... )
2). Repeating Decimal ( Ex: 1/3=.333333...., 22/7, 2/3 etc... )
Irrational Number
An Irrational Number is a real number that cannot be written as a simple fraction.
Irrational means not Rational
